The Ear that Listens Back
Parhelion Trio
Keywords: inside wind chimes
While composing The Ear That Listens Back, I began to listen differently. I focused on what remains: traces of sounds that linger, echoes that persist.
The process of writing this piece became unexpectedly healing. It led me to wonder whether listening itself might be a form of care – a way of staying with something rather than letting it pass too quickly. As you listen, I invite you simply to be present. Notice what returns, what lingers, and what transforms.
